The panel uses continuous fiberglass reinforced thermoplastic (CFRT) skins combined with a polypropylene honeycomb core. The thermoplastic fiberglass skins provide strength, stiffness and impact resistance while keeping the sandwich panel lightweight. The smooth black surface provides a finished appearance suitable for transportation and industrial composite panel applications.

Core-Polypropylene honeycomb

The polypropylene honeycomb core provides a lightweight sandwich structure with good compression resistance, impact absorption and moisture resistance. Combined with fiberglass reinforced thermoplastic skins, it helps achieve a high stiffness-to-weight ratio while reducing overall panel weight.
